I am a qualified airline pilot with experience flying the ATR 72 and training pilots for simulator preparation, particularly on the 737-800. In addition to my professional aviation background, I enjoy private flying and exploring unique destinations. I’m also an active member of a Volunteer Gliding Squadron (VGS) based at RAF Woodvale, where I contribute to the squadron’s operations.
Outside of aviation, I am passionate about outdoor activities, including instructing paddle sports, mountain biking, and rock climbing. I have extensive experience in building and programming flight simulators, working closely with colleges and universities to install, maintain, and enhance simulation environments.
One of my notable projects was transforming a simulator centre to resemble the interior of a ship.
Before my work with simulators, I owned and operated restaurants, gaining significant experience in marketing and merchandise. I’ve used this expertise to assist flight experience schools in developing profitable merchandise strategies, with some instructors successfully launching their own businesses based on these proven concepts.
